I began working on this show in the wake of the pandemic.
It’s a reflection of the past two years, shaped by both personal experiences and the shifting world around me.
A shadow is more than the absence of light; it is a place where the unseen resides. It holds the forgotten, the unspoken, the hidden part of ourselves and our world.
Out of the Shadows is a sculptural exploration of the individual and collective shadows we encounter, fear, change, loss, silence and resilience.
In a world often marked by uncertainty and darkness, it seeks not to banish shadow but to move through it and come out the other side.
It’s about transformation, learning, adapting, nurturing strength and finding unexpected light.
Each piece offers an invitation to witness vulnerability, wildness and endurance.
From the depths of shadow, light takes shape.
